In this episode episdode our topic is, "Don't Let Your Watch Shame You."

Don't forget to go by how you feel.  Don't let the watch define how you feel because the metrics you get from your fancy watch may not be as accurate as you think.   Despite popular belief the following are not reliabel data from your watch:

  1. Optical HR sensor - bad hr data
  2. HRV - no reliable data to make decisions
  3. Sleep - it's good at telling you how long you slept but he deep/REM/Light sleep metrics are not reliable.

We also cover Race week and the importance to make racing part of your training.  This includes dress rehersals before the big day and using less important races as training grounds and prep for the big races ahead.
